The gorilla seems so sad, even when the children tuck on the window glass aside of it, he just sit there with reckless pose, look for a while with a saddened eyes and then bow his head down. Somehow looking at him like that, the sad is contagious, what would he thinking kah?

USA: Henry Doorly Zoo, Omaha

Lovely scene in the desert dome 🙂

That sunday, instead spending time laying around in the hotel we are decided to go to the recommended zoo by one of our colleague. The Henry Doorly Zoo is an hour drive away from Lincoln and we already walk through it on our journey when we headed to Lincoln from Ames. And as we arrive, we can imagine how crowded the zoo is since the summer holiday is on the air.

After make some arrangement for our meeting point, we separated into few groups and less then in an hour, I find myself walking alone. Yup I’m lost inside the zoo 🙂

USA: Welcome to Lincoln, Nebraska

Lincoln downtown

We arrived that late afternoon, as the car entering the Lincoln downtown I can see old buildings with their red bricks in neat blocks and I just fell in love with the warm welcome that I feel through the city. We are hurriedly put our luggage into the room and walk out again for a late lunch date. The sidewalk are wide, cozy and clean enough as we walk towards the cozy restaurant in front of the Lincoln station.

USA: Picnic Day @Ames

Before the training is over there is one night, yes its a night thought its soooo bright I’m  a hundred percent sure it was a night (>_<) hard to get myself used to the bright night though. Well back to the story, all of the training participants were invited into a picnic session in the prof. house. Yay 🙂 picnic means fooood….. ;p
