Last week on the beautifull cloudy Sunday I got a chance to see the Labradors show. I went early in the morning from Bogor towards UKI where I should meet Mama Panda and drove together to the other side of the town. Though it officially business I don’t mind about it especially when I see those fluffy chubby and cute dogs around. Its not a formal show though, it’s a gathering for Labradors lover in Jakarta – Bogor – Tangerang area in a cozy field inside one of the company in Batu Ceper, Kalideres area.
When I stepped out from Mama Panda’s car I already saw some of the Labs with their owner and the occasion is getting merrier as it schedulled. The Labs just like a child accompany by their family, sniffin each other and start playing with the tenis balls. Most of the dog age 2-3 years old, some puppies and the oldest would be a female Lab called Pigeot which is 7 years old.
Under the high tent, the grass field is wide enough for the Labs and their owner playing around, it even completed with a small pool on the side which has been designated to teach a dog how to swim. Belly one of the female Lab jump into the pool and followed by Biscuit a young cute 3 months old lab which seems interested in what Belly‘s doing though she couldn’t swim. Don’t worry she is okay guys.
After a while it seems Belly really enjoy being the one who can swim without being told to get into the pool, kinda showing off and it was so funny. You just need to throw the plastic ball into the pool and she wil pick it up for you willingly while Pigeot (based on her owner, Pigeot once traumatized with the high chlorine concentration water in her house so this lab is tasting the water a few times before decided didn’t want to jump-in nor swim, so she was trying to get the ball from side of the pool, following by Biscuit which seems still interested in the things that the older dogs do. Some other dogs were sitting with their family under the bench enjoying the day until the ‘I-throw-you-catch-the-ball’ game is start.
Later I know that the place were also used as a dog school and its open for people who want to register their dog for obedient or training class which usually really usefull if you want to follow the formal dog show.
I enjoy the situation, the view and this is quite a chance to practicing my skill using my Canon. So all I can say now is (like the usual) enjoy the pics guys.
And of course special thanks for madam Poo for the beautifull watermark ‘cipok-cipok’
