Reasons for the journey – day zero

Well, last month since I’m closing up my second contract I get a whole month break during the summer. Not exactly a whole month since I still have to go to the office for a few days after my contract end, preparing the docs, still doing the requested homework to be send to our colleague on the weekend while my comp has been blocked automatically with all the data in it. But I thought working for couple more days won’t kill me and better be doing it at that time if I don’t want them to ruin my holiday with the phone calls attacks.

 

So I’m preparing a trip far away from the office, like I told you before I need a salvation for my soul from this city’s hectic, job schedule with never ending requests and complains from the unsatisfied boss but keep planning to hired me *sigh* don’t know whose crazy enough, me or him ya? gyahahaha….

 

Most of my friends told me that the job I’m doing is eating me up, emotionally and make me exhausted. I know, but didn’t almost all jobs just like that guy? Been discuss this with my lil brother Jamie few times, but as usual he doesn’t help that much (dasar ade kyundang) and as colleague he told me to move out to his new place but I guess it wouldn’t be fun if I just walk out and give up just like that right? For me it’s a challenge, gambarimashoo. Huh screw with the job, its holiday time now.

 

Has been planning a trip together with Uci my lil twin sister whose gonna get married next October but after spend few days trying to match our sched we couldn’t match the schedule on early July so I decided to start on the journey by myself middle of july after our (same date) birthday. I definitely put Jogja on my list, and with my backpack budget at that time I’m not sure to put Denpasar on my list. The information about the train schedule and ticket price were shared by Ebet and Jingga(bel) along the way *uwel uwel mpus oranye – matur nuwun sanget yo jeng*, the milist of indo backpackers also took an important role lah ^^ thanks to all.   

 

So after I stuffed couple of my thin balinesse shirts and couple of short into my backpack, deactivate and change my phone numbers, I grab my old green sweater, my green post office bag and my fav eiger sandal, I’m ready to go. Wawan rode me out from my dormitory to Bogor station.

 

That afternoon, the first destination would be from Bogor to Manggarai station, the ticket is 2.500 rupiahs for an hour sitting on my bag between broken benches inside the old train.

 

I arrived at 18.30 pm on Mangarai, went to the locket and bought another train ticket to Jogja for 38.000 – 40.000 rupiahs, KA Bengawan destination would be Solo but it’ll pass Jogja in the morning. I have to wait for one and a half hour, they said the train will leave at 20.00 pm but that night after the crowd competition pulled forward and backward to get a decent chair the train leaves on 21.30 pm arggghhh what a rubber watch….
