Opung

This afternoon, a call from my old boss secretary from Bogor was really suprising me. She told me that my other ex-boss has died. It’s hard to believe even though I already called his daughter in law to confirm this sad news. I lost him, and here I am sitting in my room with a blank mind in my head, waiting till the office hours to end up….Cant believe he’s leaving…..

 

The one that I used to called Opung, a hardworker boss, an understanding person with unique stubbornness, and a very friendly grandpa.

 

The one that taught me so many things in my early working years along my campuss schedule hecticity.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The one that couple year ago attended my campuss graduation ceremony with my mamsi.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The one who’s always shimmer with ideas and idealisms amongs those pessimistics and jealousy critics.

 

The one whose marking Bogor with its Botanical Square and other projects for the almamater.

(Thamrin Poeloengan is the man behind the projects)

 

and there is so much more about him.

 

 

I just visited him last week but I never thought that he’ll be goin this fast. As I told you before, in some circumstances sometimes letting go was never been an easy thing for me. Especially letting go of someone special like Opung which has became a friend, a teacher in his way, a boss with his stuborness, a funny and a loveable grandpa…..
